Born in 1966, studied mechanical engineering at the TU Clausthal and RWTH Aachen, scientific assistant at the professorship for machine elements of the RWTH Aachen, promotion in 2001, since 1999 director of machine developement of Paul Hartmann AG, university professor und director of the IMW since 01.02.2007.
